Smart Forms plus+: Your airbag for Smart Forms productsfolder
While realising various customer projects, the development team of LM Partners AG gained a host of experience in the migration of SAPscript forms and in the development and implementation of Smart Forms. This resulted in several tools, developed by LM Partners AG, which accelerate the progress of a project and significantly increase data consistency. Consequently, the times and thus costs required for updates are reduced considerably.
plus+ dynamic multilinguality
While a separate data set including text components is created for every form in SAP Smart Forms, Smart Forms plus+ contains a centralised language dictionary, from which all texts can be called. The benefits are obvious: redundancies are prevented from occurring, texts need only be translated once and deposited centrally, i.e. on all forms with the same terminology they are reproduced using the exact same wording. The adaptation of contents thus defined can be easily performed, without external support and is valid for all forms in which these contents were used.
plus+ development and test tool
This tool enables the issue of the same object, e.g. an invoice, both as a Smart Form and as a SAPscript form directly, as a screen preview, printout or PDF file in all language versions, i.e. without having to customise the news type. By this means, a 1:1 comparison is possible during a SAPscript migration.
plus+ form backup
When developing forms, it is extremely important that a version history is established. With form backup, the results-history of all forms can be deposited electronically, either directly in the SAP system or as an external file so that a restore is possible whenever required and from any version.
plus+ standardised documentation
All forms must be adapted sooner or later: be it addresses, telephone numbers, rates of value added tax or additional information that is to be issued. If this is not documented, the search for the corresponding information is often extremely time-consuming. To prevent such scenarios from happening in the first place, all forms are documented using a standardised procedure. In so doing, the layout information is documented as are the data reference tables and program resources.
